Bryan Loeffler is a Florida native and longtime resident of Naples, Florida where he practices law as a U.S. Registered Patent Attorney and is Board Certified Expert in Intellectual Property Law. Bryan's experience preparing and prosecuting patent applications covers a variety of inventions and technologies, such as medical devices, software applications, electrical and mechanical devices, and retail goods. Bryan also assists clients with protecting and enforcing their intellectual property rights, such as trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets while counseling clients on corporate matters, starting new businesses, manufacturing, and licensing.

 

Bryan received a Bachelor of Science with Honors from the from The University of Massachusetts, Amherst and received a Juris Doctorate with Honors from Nova Southeastern University School of Law. Prior to founding Loeffler IP Group, Bryan served at the Public Defender’s Office for the 20th Judicial Circuit of Florida.

 

Bryan has always been involved in serving the local community: first as an Eagle Scout, and also through his work as a former volunteer firefighter and emergency medical  technician. He is involved with advising and/or sitting on the boards of various charities and nonprofits throughout Southwest Florida. In addition, Bryan Loeffler works with clients of the U.S. Small Business Administration through its Small Business Development Centers and SCORE chapters while regularly speaking on Intellectual Property issues at local universities, colleges, and high schools.

Erica Loeffler concentrates her practice in the areas of intellectual property law that include trademarks, servicemarks, copyrights, trade secrets, domain name disputes, franchising, and litigation.

 

Erica Loeffler received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Webster University while working full time as a legal assistant for a patent attorney in Orlando. Erica went on to earn her law degree from Nova Southeastern University where she served as Article Editor on Law Review and graduated Magna Cum Laude.

 

As a member of the Northern, Middle, and Southern Federal Districts in Florida, Erica’s litigation experience encompasses patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret, franchise and other intellectual property claims. Erica has experience throughout the various stages of the litigation process including preparing and responding to pleadings, conducting discovery, taking and defending depositions, and drafting and responding to motions at the discovery and summary judgment stages.

 

In addition, Erica regularly guides clients navigating cancellation and opposition proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) and domain name disputes with ICANN, as an alternative to litigation.

 

On the transactional side, Erica regularly assists clients in obtaining state and federal trademark registrations, and copyright registrations as well as counseling clients who are interested in franchising a business or purchasing an existing franchise. 

 

Erica is active in the community with her work for local nonprofits, such as Peace River Wildlife Center and Naples Conservancy. Outside of the law, Erica stays busy raising her three beautiful daughters and supporting their activities, which includes acting in an annual production of the Nutcracker in the role of Mrs. Stalbaum with Bryan playing her husband in the role of Mr. Stalbaum for the last eight years.
